Inspiration For Women Winning Worldwide
A Note from Cynthia:
When I was young, my father passed away unexpectedly leaving my unprepared mother to assume the responsibility of providing for our family.
A strong and insightful woman, my mother decided to take the plunge and buy an existing business. Running this business while raising three children
was difficult to say the least, especially given the lack of resources available to women business owners at the time. My mother's struggles had a profound impact on me,
and deep down I vowed that someday I would help women business owners like my mother grow and prosper by providing the information and support they needed to be successful.
The Role of Women in Business/Women Owned Business Opportunities
After eighteen years as a successful Corporate Executive, I decided to start my own sales management consulting practice and realized that the role of women in business
had not changed as much as it should have: there was still a shortage of women owned business opportunities, support, and resources for women entrepreneurs. Reminded once again of my
previous vow to help women business owners, while facing my own challenges as a woman without the support network and information I needed, I began to ask myself the following questions:
Why do women struggle to start or grow their businesses? What are their unique challenges? And then: How can I provide assistance to women in business? What resources and power
tools are necessary for women in business? Finally, in 2008 I created Women Winning Worldwide- an organization that addresses these issues by providing a structured
environment that enables women to grow their businesses and bring their dreams to reality. By bringing together experts in the industry and fostering a supportive and
empowering environment, Women Winning Worldwide is the answer for women who are serious about growing their businesses to a million dollars and beyond.
And that is something both my mother and I can be proud of.
